A new report (commissioned by Parima) highlights the emergence of specialised growth media suppliers, CDMOs and shared bioproduction infrastructure (see picture below), enabling companies to adopt more capital-efficient operating models.

The report concludes that cultivated meat is increasingly following the industrialisation pathway of precision fermentation, suggesting production costs below €10/kg are a matter of timing rather than technical feasibility.
